Helsing, Europe’s leading defense technology company, and ARX Robotics, Europe’s leading provider of unmanned, software-defined land systems, will work closely together in the future. Their goal is to develop an AI-based reconnaissance and effect system for European defense.

The currently highly fragmented and analog land domain is to be digitalized, networked, and equipped with artificial intelligence so that armed forces can operate faster, more precisely, more efficiently, and over greater distances than is possible today. This will ensure the superiority of European defense on the battlefield.

Both companies can draw on combat-proven systems and experience from Ukraine, where networked technologies in the land domain are already playing a decisive role.

The partnership is European in scope. In addition to cooperation in Ukraine, it includes joint projects in the United Kingdom and Germany, among others.

Gundbert Scherf, Co-CEO of Helsing:
“ARX is leading the field when it comes to unmanned land systems. By strengthening the land domain together, we are delivering on Helsing’s promise: to protect European democracies through technological superiority.”

Marc Wietfeld, CEO of ARX Robotics:
“With Helsing, we have found the best-in-class partner to drive technological leaps in the European defense sector with us. For example, we will work together in the United Kingdom, Ukraine, and Germany to give European and Ukrainian armed forces a technological edge.”
