Munich/Warsaw, September 9, 2026 - European neo-prime ARX Robotics today announced a major expansion into Poland, marking the next phase of growth across Europe and strengthening its presence on NATO’s eastern flank.

The expansion comes against a backdrop of increasing Russian aggression and hybrid activity across Europe, and as Poland continues to strengthen both its Armed Forces and domestic defence industrial base.

The move will begin with the creation of a Polish legal entity, followed by plans to establish a permanent headquarters and dedicated training, sustainment and support facilities in the country.

ARX Robotics is planning to invest tens of millions of euros in Poland over the coming years and to create a number of highly skilled jobs by the end of the decade as its local operations grow.

The company’s ambition is to become a permanent part of Poland’s defence ecosystem, working closely with the Polish Armed Forces, government and industry to explore the deployment, production and sustainment of autonomous land systems.

The model builds on the ARX Robotics’ experience in Ukraine, where the company works alongside military users to provide training, maintenance, sustainment and continuous adaptation based on operational feedback.

Poland will become ARX Robotics’ fourth market, meaning the company will now have an active presence in three of Europe’s five largest defence markets, in addition to its extensive footprint in Ukraine.

ARX Robotics develops software-defined uncrewed ground systems for European and allied armed forces. Its GEREON uncrewed ground vehicles are deployed at scale in Ukraine, where the company works directly with Ukrainian forces to develop and adapt systems in response to operational requirements.

Lessons from Ukraine are informing ARX Robotics’ wider work with NATO and European armed forces, including the development of autonomous systems for reconnaissance, logistics, casualty evacuation and other missions where uncrewed platforms can reduce risk to soldiers and increase mass.

Quotes

Announcing the expansion at the International Defence Industry Exhibition (MSPO) in Kielce, Poland, Marc Wietfeld, CEO and co-founder of ARX Robotics, said:

Poland is on the frontline of Europe’s security and is showing the seriousness, speed and industrial ambition Europe now needs. In light of increased Russian aggression towards our friends and allies along NATO’s eastern flank, we believe the time is right to deepen our commitment to Poland.

“ As our fourth market, Poland is an important step in our company’s growth. We want to build long-term capability here, support Polish Armed Forces and become part of Poland’s defence industrial base. Our experience in Ukraine has shown how quickly modern warfare is evolving, and we want to bring those lessons closer to Polish and NATO forces and help strengthen deterrence where it matters most.”
